What will 2011 bring for Jules?
Read her inspiring journey (so far) below….

“In 2009 I had the stupid idea I wasn’t good enough to compete - heard it was only 1 competitor for the women category so was really put off. I offered to help out selling raffle tickets, well by the afternoon I was gutted I hadn’t taken part, soooooo 2010 I was definitely in!!
I was worried, sure - I had never competed before but wanted to be part of the day, see what I could put myself through, how far I could push myself.
Before the events I felt sick but with the adrenalin flowing, I achieved far more than I could have hoped for -  a 10kg increase on my Deadlift, tyre flipping, hell I even pulled a van! (I weigh 52.5kg). I pushed myself to limits I didn’t realise I could get to, and it was fun!!!
The day was an amazing feat for everyone, camaraderie between fellow competitors was awesome…..friends were made.
Definitely in again this year, and hopefully there will be more of us gals to show exactly what we can push ourselves to …its what we train for.”
